Atty. Wilma Valdemoro-Cua is a graduate of the UP College of Law, Class’73; and a member of the Philippine Bar, and the New York State Bar.
She is a Senior Partner at the Romulo Mabanta Buenaventura Sayoc and De los Angeles Law where she heads its International and Corporate Department.
She is happily married to Atty. Pip Cua and has four children and two granddaughters.
Along with her husband, she is involved in family evangelization whose mission is to help build stronger and happier families in parishes and communities. She and her husband were past president-couple of the Christian Family Movement (CFM) of the Philippines; and currently, president-couple of CFM Continental Asia.
Since year 2000, she co-anchors “ A La, Una… Ang Pamilya “ which airs every Sunday from 1-2 pm at Radio Veritas as CFM’s outreach program to families whose faces are not seen but whose voices are heard through this radio program.
One of her favorite advocacies is the Crusade against Domestic Violence against Women and Children which she supports through forums and awareness campaign through holding of fun runs for women and children.
She is presently a director of Tahanan Outreach Projects and Services, Inc. (TOPS), a community endeavor in the Philippines dedicated to the prevention and treatment of juvenile delinquency, as well as director of The UP Center for Women’s Studies Foundation, Inc. (UP CWSFI), an organization dedicated to help UP Center for Women’s Studies in its efforts to raise the status of women in Philippine society through research, training/conferences, outreach, and dissemination of significant information about women.
